Job Duties
The PGPDM is a 12-month modular program for professionals working in or intending to work for the social sector, including NGOs, foundations, CSR functions of corporate/ for-profit organizations, social policy or welfare departments of governments, and social enterprises.
The Program Manager will be responsible for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the development sector organizations by building the capacity of development professionals and helping them create a more inclusive and sustainable society.
The responsibilities include:
- Admissions: Plan, design, and coordinate the admissions campaign, onboard admitted candidates, build relationships with industry bodies, and assist in preparing promotional materials.
- Academic Program Management: Manage all operations from admissions to convocation, prepare the program calendar, update participants' guidelines, guide batch coordinators, handle queries, and ensure timely evaluation of academic tasks.
- Inter-Departmental and External Coordination: Coordinate with administration, infrastructure, faculty, library, examination cell, and other departments to fulfill requirements, schedule sessions, procure materials, and compile marks and grades.
- Supporting the PGPDM Program Chairperson and Program Office: Coordinate with the program team, batch coordinators, and perform assigned tasks to achieve overall objectives.
Experience: Ten years of experience, with a minimum of five years running a program at a reputed institute in India. Education: Post Graduate in Social Work, Development Management/Studies, MBA, or other development/social sector-related disciplines from premier institutions.
