Role requirements:

  • Engage with development teams to gather requirements and build automation to deliver on those requirements for Infrastructure teams with which we are aligned.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to advise and establish standards that enable automation capabilities
  • Create automation to support Operations using modern automation and development technologies such as Ansible, Apex, GIT, and CI/CD tooling.
  • Experience with PLSQL, REST, and related technologies that contribute to the develop of ETL that provide data warehouse content and the delivery of analytics
  • Provide clear, concise, and organized documentation to establish and maintain standards and procedures

Experience:

  • Experience in scripting languages such as Perl/Python/Bash/PowerShell
  • Strong SQL query knowledge and experience in developing solutions in Oracle PL/SQL
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and techniques such as Infrastructure automation, Continuous Testing & Integration (CI/CD), and Continuous delivery.
  • Understanding of SDLC and DevOps-related tooling, such as Github/Bitbucket, Ansible, Puppet/Chef, Jenkins or similar tools
  • Experience importing/transforming data from disparate sources such as for data warehousing (ETL)
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, take ownership of success at the solution level, as well as maintaining a flexible attitude is a must
  • Ability to quickly diagnose the problem areas and come up with solutions and/or workarounds.
  • Experience with Oracle APEX a plus
  • Knowledge of enterprise-scale database platforms is helpful
  • Experience with data warehousing Star Schema or Data Vault models a plus
  • Experience with cloud technology (AWS/Azure) a plus
