Position Summary:

Engineer - Microsoft Power Platform

What does the job entail?

• The Developer Power Platform supports implementing and operating the Bremen specific Power Platform software solutions and apps.
• He works in a team of 2 - 3 people for cluster Bremen in GCC India.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extend and maintain Power Platform solutions, conduct testing and debugging, bring them live and collaborate with other team members to integrate them into the larger Azure system.
• Maintain workflows and business processes using Power Automate and Power Automate Desktop.
• Maintain custom connectors and integrate Power Platform with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and other third-party systems.
• Work closely with development team to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Ensure solutions follow best practices for security, performance, and usability.
• Support and troubleshoot existing Power Platform solutions; execute service request, solve issues and problems in applications maintenance
• Maintain documentation, user training, and provide end-user support for deployed applications.

Who are we looking for?

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in development with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Automate Desktop) ideally with expert certifications (e.g. Power Platform App Maker Associate)
• Good written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English

Technical skills (mandatory):

Operating Systems:

• Proficient in working with Windows operating systems

Programming and Frameworks:

• Good knowledge in developing with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Automate Desktop)
• Good Understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem and its integration capabilities
• Knowlege with Dataverse (Common Data Service), SharePoint, and connectors
• Familiarity with Power Fx, JavaScript, or other relevant scripting languages

Web Technologies:

• Good knowledge in developing with REST APIs; JSON, Graph and integration with external data sources
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Architecture and Development Methodologies
• Good understanding of the Power Platform pattern; experience with unit testing and test-driven development

Databases:

• Good SQL skills with Microsoft SQL Server
• Development Environment:
• Proficient use of Power Platform development tools

Documentation:

• Ability to create technical documentation, including code comments, architectural descriptions and release notes

Technical skills (optional):

• Programming:
• Knowledge with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Powershell and Graph.
• CI/CD and Project Management:
• Good knowledge with Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) for Power Platform
• Collaboration:
• Good knowledge of working in agile Scrum teams
