We began with a simple vision — to create easy, everyday, and inclusive clothing for people of all body types and age groups. Over time, Tailor Didi has evolved into something much bigger — a multi-category brand built on thoughtful design, comfort, and individuality. Every piece is made-to-order with scope for customization so it feels personal, comfortable, and truly yours. Our approach is rooted in a consumer-first ideology , serving both the Indian and international markets. Alongside versatile silhouettes, we explore hand embroidery, color theory, and upcycling , adding depth and craft to everything we make. At Tailor Didi , design isn’t limited by size, gender, or trends — it’s about creating products that make people feel confident, complimented, and connected. Role Description We’re looking for a Fashion Designer & Founder’s Assistant to work directly with the founder and assist across both creative and operational aspects of the studio. This role blends design, planning, and execution — from conceptualizing collections and managing production to helping expand into new product categories like jewellery, gifting, and bags. It’s ideal for someone who’s highly organized, patient, and dependable , can handle pressure and unpredictability , and thrives in an environment where no two days look the same. You’ll play a central role in keeping the brand running smoothly — managing timelines, coordinating with teams, and contributing creatively to upcoming projects. This is a full-time, on-site role in Jaipur , offering real exposure to how a modern, homegrown brand grows across categories. Responsibilities Work directly with the founder, assisting in daily coordination, planning, and communication Support in design development — sketches, research, mood boards, and fabric sourcing Support in sampling and product development across categories (clothing, jewellery, gifting, and bags) Coordinate with tailoring, jewellery, and product vendors to ensure timely execution Maintain organized studio records — fabrics, swatches, samples, and technical files Oversee packaging and dispatch for both domestic and international orders Create layouts and graphics for campaigns, lookbooks, and social media (Canva/Adobe tools) Handle order tracking, logs, and day-to-day operational tasks Qualifications Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design, Textile, or related field Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Comfortable working in a fast-changing, high-energy environment Excellent communication skills (English & Hindi) Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or Photoshop preferred A strong eye for color, fabric, and proportion Calm, patient, and solution-oriented, even under pressure Willingness to take ownership, work hard, and grow with the brand Location: Jaipur Type: Full-time, On-site Industry: Retail Apparel, Fashion & Lifestyle Products Employment Type: Full-time
