InCommon is hiring on behalf of a fast-growing technology company operating in the auto insurance domain, focused on building advanced solutions for data processing, analysis, and integration. Their custom-built platform drives innovation and efficiency, enabling seamless workflows for our business partners.


Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled Senior .NET Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will design, develop, and enhance a custom data platform, working on API development, microservices architecture, and database management. The ideal candidate should have expertise in C#, .NET Core, and containerization tools like Docker, along with a strong understanding of SQL Server and RestAPI.


Key Responsibilities

💼 Development and Implementation:

  • Design and develop scalable, efficient solutions using C# and .NET Core.
  • Build and enhance APIs and microservices for data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
  • Optimize the platform for performance, scalability, and security.

💼 Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

💼 Database Management:

  • Develop and optimize SQL Server queries and stored procedures to handle large datasets.
  • Maintain data consistency, integrity, and security.

💼 Microservices and API Development:

  • Implement microservices-based architecture for modular and scalable solutions.
  • Develop RESTful APIs to integrate with third-party systems and internal applications.

💼 Containerization and Deployment:

  • Utilize Docker to containerize applications for seamless deployment.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.

💼 Quality and Testing:

  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
  • Debug and resolve issues identified during testing or in production.


Requirements

💪 Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and object-oriented programming.
  • Strong experience with API development, RESTful services, and microservices architecture.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL Server, including stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker for application containerization.
  • Familiarity with design patterns, clean code principles, and best practices.

💪 Domain Knowledge:

  • Understanding or experience in the auto insurance domain is a significant advantage.

💪 General Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience as a .NET Developer in enterprise-grade applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
