Job Overview
As a Collection Process Manager at VCATCH, you will manage and optimize debt collection processes to enhance financial performance. This full-time, mid-level position requires 4 to 6 years of experience and is based in Bangalore. You will oversee collection strategies and lead a team to achieve sustainable results within regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills alongside expertise in debt collection strategies.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must possess expertise in debt collection strategies (Mandatory skill) with a proven track record of optimizing processes for improved recovery rates.
- Proven team leadership skills (Mandatory skill) to inspire, guide, and manage a team towards achieving collection goals effectively and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills (Mandatory skill) to liaise effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to maintain clear and effective communication channels.
- Strong data analysis skills to interpret data trends and inform strategic decisions in the collection process for improved performance.
- Proficient in negotiation skills to advocate for agreeable terms with debtors while maintaining positive stakeholder relations.
- Ability to perform risk assessment to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks associated with debt recovery and management.
- Expertise in compliance management to ensure all collection activities adhere to legal and regulatory standards robustly.
- Advanced problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges dynamically, ensuring process resilience and efficiency.

- Lead, train, and motivate a team of collection agents to ensure high standards of performance and goal achievement.

- Manage relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring service excellence and satisfaction in all interactions.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory and legal requirements, adapting strategies to maintain adherence and avoid liabilities.
- Assess and manage risks associated with the collection process, creating solutions that address potential challenges proactively.
- Coordinate with other departments and teams to ensure workflow efficiency and alignment with company-wide objectives.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, providing insights into collection performance and strategic recommendations.
