JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Title: Senior Backend Engineer / Senior Software Engineer Job Overview:We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team in building scalable and secure backend services in the Insurance domain. Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.Js, JavaScript, or TypeScript and in AWS. Work with NoSQL databases, particularly DynamoDB, to build high-throughput, low-latency systems. Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. Optimize system performance and scalability across high load platforms. Ensure robust security, compliance, and fault-tolerance in all backend implementations. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and provide mentorship to junior engineers. Required Qualifications:6 to 8 years of backend development experience, with a strong focus on scalable systems. Proficiency in Node.Js, with experience in either JavaScript or TypeScript. Good in AWS serverless architecture, Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases,. Background in fintech, payment systems, or other high-security, high-availability industries. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on system performance, reliability, and maintainability. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to cross-functional teams. Nice to Have:Experience with event-driven architectures or messaging systems Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
