You sit in the middle of the business community, engineering team, and user experience team and are the voice of the customer. Your responsibilities range from increasing the profitability of existing products to developing new products for the company. You'll build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new and innovative ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time with customers to understand their pain points, and find innovative solutions for the broader market.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Represent the Invoicing product internally and externally Be the "CEO of the product" and manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning, roadmapping, feature design, development support, go-to-market, and field support for components of the Coupa Invoicing product Work cross-functionally to ensure alignment between product areas and wider organisation Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by close collaboration with customers, prospects and analysis of the competitor landscape Drive innovation for the Invoicing product area to set Coupa a part from the competition and bring even further value to our customer base Work closely with engineering through design, build, test of requirements (stories) and documentation Support company-wide go-to-market plan and work with relevant departments to execute Analyse potential partner relationships for the product Continually assess our products' competitive market position Liaise with the other areas of the Invoicing PM community to align vision, strategy and execution to bring the most value possible to our customer base. Drive educational activities both internally and externally on how your product impacts the overall Business Spend Management suite Coupa offers Requirements:
You have at least 5 years of experience, at least 3 of those in Product Management You're analytical, fact-based and like to get to the bottom of issues Stay calm in pressured situations, such as customer escalations, and able to articulate a path forward You know your market, customers and competition well, and you're strong at integrating this information into your product strategies You're biassed toward action, a great collaborator.
