Role Description

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Interventional Cardiologist (DM/DNB Cardiology) to join our team in Kolkata (Greater Kolkata Area).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of cardiovascular conditions
  • Perform interventional procedures such as:
  • Coronary angioplasty and stent placement
  • Pacemaker and device implantations (ICD, CRT, etc.)
  • Emergency interventions for acute myocardial infarction
  • Provide round-the-clock support for acute cardiac emergencies and Cath Lab cases
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (Critical Care, Cardiac Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Neurology, etc.) for comprehensive care
  • Participate in academic training, CMEs, and hospital quality improvement programs
Qualifications
  • MBBS from a recognized medical college (mandatory)
  • MD (General Medicine) followed by DM (Cardiology) or equivalent DNB (Cardiology) from an NMC-recognized institute (mandatory)
  • Strong expertise in interventional cardiology procedures (angioplasty, stenting, device implantation, etc.)
  • Extensive experience in Cath Lab operations and acute cardiac care management
  • Strong diagnostic, analytical, and patient management skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure tertiary care hospital settings
  • Prior experience as an Interventional Cardiologist in a hospital/tertiary care environment preferred (fresh DM/DNB graduates may also apply)
