The System Integration Engineer will bridge robotics developers, QA engineers, and Site Reliability Engineers (SREs), ensuring seamless integration of robotics software and infrastructure. 

The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and enjoys working directly with state-of-the-art robotics systems and platforms. 

In this role, the System Integration Engineer will be responsible for: 

  • Integrating software solutions across robotic hardware, software, cloud systems, and infrastructure 
  • Collaborating closely with robotics developers, QA engineers, and SREs to bring complex robotics systems to life 
  • Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for robotics applications and beyond 
  • Containerizing and managing robotics systems using Docker and Kubernetes 
  • Implementing automation and infrastructure tooling to enhance deployment processes 
  • Troubleshooting integration issues across software and hardware platforms 

Requirements

Minimum qualifications 

  • 3 years of experience as a system integration engineer, software engineer, or related role 
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, robotics, or equivalent practical experience 
  • Solid experience programming in C++ and Python 
  • Practical knowledge of Robotics Operating System (ROS) 
  • Proficiency in Linux environments 
  • Strong experience with version control systems (git) 
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI 
  • Experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker 
  • Basic knowledge of Kubernetes 

Preferred qualifications   

  • Basic understanding of embedded systems and electronics 
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols 
  • Previous experience integrating robotics or hardware-related systems 
  • Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) testing and simulation environments 
  • Japanese language proficiency
