You should be comfortable working with different materials, building prototypes, and collaborating with teams to bring ideas to life. Alongside product development, you'll also shape how our products are experienced in physical spaces—through layouts, displays, and storytelling touchpoints.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and confident moving between object and spatial design, always looking for new ways to express Ware's design philosophy.
Responsibilities
Understand design briefs and create aesthetic and functional products.
Work closely with other teams (sales and marketing) to establish a plan for product release
Acknowledge the production capabilities and design the production pipeline.
Create product prototypes prior to creating a final product.
Adjust approach towards designs based on feedback provided.
Research and source vendors and suppliers for raw materials or fabrication whenever required.
Innovate to come up with better ways of prototyping designs, and streamlining production.
Overlooking the entire production process to ensure the final product meets the desired quality standards.
Design and set up in-store product displays and signage that communicate the story and function of each collection.
Plan and execute seasonal window displays and installations that reflect current campaigns or product highlights.
Create spatial layouts for the store that enhance the customer journey and encourage discovery.
Develop and prototype small mechanical or interactive display elements to support product storytelling.
Ensure all visual touchpoints are aligned with Ware Innovations' brand aesthetic, material palette, and tone.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree.
1-2 years of experience in product design or related fields.
Strong creative, design, and communication skills.
Portfolio of work.
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
Proficient in any of these 3D modeling software - Solid Works, Rhino or Fusion.
Rendering in Keyshot or Blender.
Strong sketching and hands-on prototyping abilities.
Knowledge of different materials and manufacturing processes/techniques.
Attention to detail is a must.
Nice to Have:
Experience in graphic design and branding .
Familiarity with e-commerce UX best practices .
Interest in home decor, tableware, or lifestyle brands .
