Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our social media presence, creating

engaging content, and driving our branding efforts to enhance our online visibility and

reputation. This mid-level position requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication

skills and a passion for social media.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Strategy and Management:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to align with the university's
  • branding and communication goals.
  • Manage and maintain all official social media accounts, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, , and YouTube.
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications, and apply that knowledge to improve brands social media presence.

2. Content Creation and Curation:

  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging and relevant content across all social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with the design and content teams to produce high-quality visuals, videos, and graphics.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and voice across all social media channels.

3. Community Engagement:

  • Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, alumni, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders through social media interactions.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities for collaboration with influencers and partners.

4. Analytics and Reporting:

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance using analytics tools.
  • Generate monthly and quarterly reports to assess the effectiveness of social media campaigns and strategies.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize content and improve engagement metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in social media management, preferably in an educational or
  • corporate environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Strong understanding of SEO, web traffic metrics, and social media KPIs.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and generate innovative ideas.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Team player with a collaborative attitude and a passion for social media.
