Role Overview:We are inviting applicants who could be a part of our Construction and Project Team with experience in 5 Star Hotels and Luxury Resorts. Incumbent should be able to manage a team at site and has the know-how to execute the project till Delivery. Experience in construction management, project control, cost management & co-ordination

Key Responsibilities:Programme ManagementProvide scheduling inputs for the Master programMonitor preparation of micro-schedule for each trade in line with the Master scheduleMonitor tracking of the schedule to identify actual/ potential delaysSupport the Director in forecasting of time for completionLead corrective actions to control/ minimize actual/ forecasted delays

Cost ManagementMonitor and control post QS recommendations for variationsSupport the Director in forecasting cost to completionSupport the Director in planning and executing corrective actions/ VE to control/ minimize actual/ forecasted cost over-runs

Site ManagementLead logistic planning and site managementMonitor & manage site infrastructure required for construction activitiesLead weekly review meetings with contractorsDrive construction processes and control coordination between trades

Design Coordination/ Document ControlMonitor timely receipt of GFCMonitor issuance of RFIs to consultants and timely closure of the sameMonitor timely approval of shop drawings/ prototypes/ samplesManaging proper document control at site and ensuring use of latest release drawings & documents for construction.

Contract and Commercial ManagementParticipate and provide inputs to the Director for preparation of the packaging strategy for tenders/ procurementSupport the Commercial team for preparation of the tender documents with inputs related to site and logistics, scheduling, and project specific special conditions of contractReview the BOQ and provide inputs on milestone schedule, methodology, quality, sequencing of activities and quantity variations (between drawings and actuals) due to site conditions

Change ManagementManage change management process for any changes requested after award of works on siteEnsuring accuracy of impacts on time, cost and quality captured in the change requests.Monitor realignment of project baselines after acceptance of change requests

QC & HSEImplement Quality Control procedures on siteImplement HSE procedures on siteEnsure following of ITPs and adequate documentation of the inspection/ test reports

What we are looking for:Min 15 years of experience in construction management, project control, cost management & co-ordinationMinimum 7 years of experience in capacity of a Construction ManagerCompleted min 2 hotel projectsExposure in working with large construction and project management organizations

Essential skills & Competencies:Excellent communication skills with contractual writing abilityAbility to convey ideas in a concise and clear mannerGood planning and organizing skills, able to effectively schedule and coordinate various project activities. Proficiency in MS Project is a mustGood problem-solving skills with the ability to do a root cause analysisUnderstanding of hotel construction, sequencing of activities and inter-disciplinary coordination
