Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Test Engineer with 3–4 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with test case design, execution, defect tracking, and test automation frameworks. The role requires strong analytical skills and a passion for delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for web and backend applications.
  • Perform manual testing for functionality, regression, and system integration.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA engineers to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Participate in sprint planning and Agile ceremonies.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and suggest preventive actions.
  • Maintain test documentation and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3–4 years of experience in software testing with a mix of manual and automation testing.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Software testing lifecycle and QA methodologies
  • Writing and executing test cases and test scenarios
  • Bug tracking tools (e.g., ADO, Jira)
  • Test automation using UiPath, Selenium
  • Basic understanding of SQL for backend validation.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude.

Preferred / Additional Skills:

  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like ADO/Git.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman or similar.
