Job Summary


We are looking for an experienced and strategic-minded DVP / VP - Debt Product Head to drive the vision, strategy, and execution for our debt product offerings. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the lending and collections lifecycle, financial regulations, and consumer needs. You will be responsible for managing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization, with the goal of reducing delinquency rates and improving the customer experience. Experience with debt instruments for wealth management, private wealth, or private credit funds is essential.


Key Responsibilities


  • Product Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and manage the product roadmap for debt products, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and customer needs.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with teams such as engineering, design, data analytics, operations, legal, and compliance to define and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Market and Customer Insights: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user interviews to gather insights and identify new product opportunities.
  • Feature Prioritization: Define product requirements and prioritize features based on business impact, customer value, and technical feasibility.
  • Digital Innovation: Design and enhance digital-first debt strategies, utilizing technologies like AI and automation to optimize workflows and improve recovery efficiency.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure all products and processes adhere to regulatory requirements and mitigate risk.
  • Performance Monitoring: Define key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze product performance data, and use insights to inform continuous product improvements.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate the product vision, progress, and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Experience: Proven experience as a Product Manager or Senior Product Manager, with a focus on lending, collections, debt management, or other financial products.
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of the debt lifecycle, from origination to collection, as well as relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with modern software development practices, APIs, data analytics tools, and financial technologies.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to use data and analytical skills to inform decision-making and measure product success.
  • Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to influence and align diverse teams.
  • Customer Empathy: A customer-first approach with a strong ability to understand and address user needs and pain points.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, complex, and evolving environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field is required. An MBA or other advanced degree is a plus
