We run on complex backend systems with hundreds of external touchpoints/data exchanges, build/train various AI/ML recommendation & personalization models, a cluster of highly scalable, tolerant, secure cloud-native microservices and provide an intuitive omni-channel (PWA, Android and IOS) user experience to our clients.As a Lead Engineer/Architect - Frontend at Sequoia, you will be responsible for technically leading the overall Frontend PWA client architecture for all sequoia applications that run across channels (Android, IOS, Web) etc and build completely theme-able web applications that can be white boxed to our clients.Stack details: Responsibilities:Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic.Be an Architect for your module and scale the applicationWriting reusable, testable, and efficient code.Make swift decisions in the way to build the productArticulate the approach to all the relevant team membersImplementation of security and data protection.Integration of data storage solutions.Requirements:12+ years of experience in design and implementation of Microservices.Strong hold in Algorithms and Problem solvingHands on experience in coding languages like Go, Node.js and JavaGood understanding of server-side templating & CSS pre-processorsUnderstanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3.Understanding accessibility and security compliance.Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimising output to match the specific platform.Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.Innovative and able to reach and collaborate with other team members and functional teamsAbility to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentMost importantly, live our Sequoia day in and day out
