Job Title: Systems EngineerLocation: India -Remote –Hyderabad or Bangalore A10 Networks (NYSE: ATEN), a leading provider of intelligent and automated cybersecurity solutions, is seeking a Systems Engineer for the India and SAARC territory. A10 Networks’ Systems Engineer act in a Pre-Sales role promoting A10 product solutions. In this role, you’ll perform customer demonstrations explaining features and benefits to customers, assist the customer with network designs, and configure equipment to meet specific customer requirements. What You’ll Be DoingProviding technical and sales support for accounts and channel in assigned territoryPerform presentations (technical, products, solution) for customers, partners and prospectsAssist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunitiesBe responsible for POC testing, RFP & technical solutions drafting, competitor analysis, training materials, media soft paper and promotional documentation organizingInternal training for sales and marketing team; external training for Channel partners & key customersRemote and on-site support for customer technical problemsOn-site technical support for key customers technical troubleshootingWhat We’re Looking ForA bachelor’s degree in EE or CS (or equivalent) with 8+ years of related industry experienceMinimum 5 years’ experience in Pre-sales roleKnowledge of Layer-4-7 protocols and technologies, such as TCP, UDP, HTTP, DNS and SSL/TTLSStrong L2/L3 expertise with an emphasis on Network Routing Protocols, such as OSPF/BGPIn-depth knowledge in multiple areas of specialization: Virtualization, Cloud-Native, Application Acceleration, DDOS mitigation, IPv4 Preservation/IPv6 Migration technologies and Traffic SecurityStrong operating experience in at least one of the following areas: Application Delivery Controller, Enterprise Applications, Network SecurityAbility to work independently, effective and as a team memberWay to Stand Out:Relevant certifications (e.G., A10 Certified professional, CCNA / CCNP / CCIE, JNCIA, JNCIP, F5 201/301/401, Palo Alto / Fortinet certified engineer) are highly desirableCompetitive knowledge in Layer 4-7 switching including solutions, technology and product offeringsKnowledgeable and conversant about company, competitive landscape, technologies, solutions, product strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threatsKnowledge of protocols and technologies in mobile service provider/ISP, such as CGNAT, Gi/SGi Firewall, GTP Firewall, DDoS Clean PipeScripting programming experience in Shell or TCL along with Unix/Linux technical experienceExperience with container orchestration solutions (eg: OpenShift, Kubernetes)
