What are we looking for ?
Key Responsibilities :
- Data Architecture : Design and implement data systems using Medallion Architecture principles to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.
- ETL Development : Build, optimize, and maintain ETL pipelines to handle large volumes of data across diverse sources.
- Cloud Expertise : Leverage Azure data services, such as Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Factory, to develop and deploy data solutions.
- Data Modeling : Create and maintain efficient data models that align with business needs and improve data accessibility.
- Automation : Implement and enhance automation in data workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Data Governance : Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all processes.
- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, align on goals, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Technical Expertise :
- Proficiency in modern data engineering practices and cloud-based tools.
- Hands-on experience with Azure data platforms, including Azure SQL, Synapse, and Data Factory.
- Expertise in building and managing scalable ETL pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Medallion Architecture or similar layered frameworks.
- Working knowledge of Power BI and SQL (not at expert level).
- Familiarity with tools and frameworks for automation and workflow orchestration.
Soft Skills :
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in data engineering roles.
