We are currently seeking a Databricks SME Architecture and Scaling to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).

Databricks Admin Architect with 8 to 16 years of experience

Job Description:
As a Databricks Admin Architect specializing in ML, role involves managing and optimizing Databricks environments to support data science and machine learning workflows. Here's are the roles and responsivities:

Architecture and Scaling:

  • Advise on architecture and scaling strategies for Databricks environments.
  • Set up data storage, notebooks, and compute resources to fulfill business use cases.

Technical Support:

  • Serve as a point of contact for technical issues related to Databricks.
  • Monitor usage, report on cost management, and participate in cost planning.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in Databricks, related technologies, and data replication products.
  • Be available for occasional on-call support as needed 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Python and PySpark.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience in building and optimizing complex data pipelines in Azure

Cluster Management:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Databricks clusters and workspaces.
  • Monitor cluster performance, resource utilization, and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance1.

User Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Manage tenants, including workspace creation, user management, cloud resources, and account usage monitoring.
  • Serve as a point of contact for technical issues related to the Databricks environment.
  • Document customer issues and solutions in the internal knowledge base2.
