Vice President, Factory Management (Executive Position who directly reports to President, India)

Role and Responsibilities

  • Assist the company President as the Vice President.
  • Manage and oversee factory operations to achieve company goals, policies, and plans as the factory management.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of employees within the factory to a reasonable extent.

Detailed Job Description

External Negotiations

  • Negotiations with local government and related agencies regarding permits and approvals.
  • Handling other external-related tasks.

Production Management

  • Direct the planning of optimal production plans based on business and sales plans.
  • Implement production control (procurement and process management) to achieve required QCD.

Human Resources and Labor Management

  • Recruitment, appropriate personnel placement, transfers, and continuous human resource development.
  • Fair evaluation and appropriate labor management.

Safety and Health Management

  • Create an environment where employees can work with peace of mind.
  • Supervise and promote 5S activities.

Financial Management

  • Cost management to ensure self-sustaining profit.

Environmental Management

  • Environmental management to prevent pollution and establish emergency response systems.
  • Maintain good relationships with the local community.

Required Skills and Knowledge

Problem Analysis Ability

  • Grasp and analyze the overall situation of the factory.

 (familiar with 4M: Man-Machine-Material-Method , 5S Concept:Sort, Set in order, Shine, Sustain, etc.).

  • Detect potential risks, break them down into issues, and prioritize them.

Problem-solving Ability

  • Formulate strategies for solving issues and concretize measures.
  • Execute and thoroughly implement solutions.

Interdepartmental Collaboration Ability

  • Build relationships and smooth collaboration with related departments.

Human Resource Management and Development Ability

  • Build trust relationships with many subordinates, permeate and thoroughly implement policies.
  • Identify and discover the aptitudes of each employee, and continuously develop human resources.
