Role Summary

Teceze is seeking an experienced Network Engineer (L1/L2 Tech) to support a critical network migration and deployment project. The role involves hands-on Cisco switch administration, wireless access point configuration, troubleshooting, and providing on-site/remote technical support. The engineer must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently by following runbooks, and effective communication in English.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform Cisco switch administration with expertise in BGP, routing, and switching.
  • Support network deployments and migration activities across designated sites.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Wireless Access Points and Controllers.
  • Read and interpret cable/port matrix (Excel-based) and provide on-site technical support as required.
  • Troubleshoot incidents effectively and ensure minimal downtime during migration.
  • Follow predefined runbooks independently, ensuring adherence to project standards.
  • Actively participate in daily coordination calls with project teams.
  • Prepare and execute site readiness checks during the 12-day pre-cutover preparation period, dedicating ~4 hours daily to site familiarization.
  • Raise meaningful questions and identify potential risks by engaging early in site-specific activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer (L1/L2 Support).
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Cisco switches, routing (BGP), and switching.
  • Experience in network deployment and migration projects.
  • Working knowledge of Cisco Wireless APs and Controllers.
  • Proficiency in Excel-based port/cable matrix analysis.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
  • Good communication skills with proficiency in English.
  • Willingness to work in night shifts (US time zone).

Preferred Qualifications

  • CCNA Certified Associate or higher.
  • Experience in large-scale Network Transformation projects.
