Job Title: Team Leader – Credit ControlLocation: MaladExperience: 5+ yearsWorking Days: Monday to SaturdayCompany Websites:https://www.illusiondentallab.com/https://www.laxmidentallimited.com/Job PurposeThe Team Leader – Credit Control will support the Finance Department by overseeing the day-to-day operations of the credit control team. This role involves ensuring timely collections, maintaining customer account accuracy, minimizing overdue payments, and achieving collection targets while leading and motivating a team of credit control executives.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and guide the Credit Control team to achieve collection and aging targets.Ensure the end-to-end credit control process is executed effectively, including invoice processing, payment follow-up, cash application, reconciliations, and credit note issuance.Conduct regular reviews of outstanding accounts and ensure timely follow-up for overdue payments.Support team members in negotiations with clients for payment terms and resolving disputes.Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and account statuses.Monitor customer credit limits and ensure compliance with company credit policies.Generate and review weekly and monthly collection reports for management.Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).Coordinate with the Sales and Finance teams to resolve billing discrepancies.Train, motivate, and evaluate team members to enhance performance and service quality.Education and ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (Postgraduate preferred).5+ years of relevant experience in credit control, receivables management, or collections.Minimum 2 years of experience in leading a team.Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software (Zoho Books experience preferred).High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.Desired AttributesStrong sense of accountability and ownership.Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.Customer-focusedDesired Attributeswith the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.Proactive in problem-solving and process enhancement.
