We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide strategic and technical guidance in the areas of Data Centre Operations, Colocation Services, Infrastructure Management, Network Security, and Cloud Migration. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth expertise and a proven track record in designing, managing, and securing IT infrastructure systems and facilitating seamless cloud transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the go-to expert for all matters related to:

Data Centre architecture and operations

Colocation and hosting services

IT Infrastructure Management (servers, storage, virtualization, monitoring)

Network and cybersecurity architecture and policy implementation

Cloud strategy, planning, and migration (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess current systems, define requirements, and recommend improvements or solutions.
  • Evaluate and implement best practices in infrastructure efficiency, scalability, disaster recovery, and data integrity.
  • Provide technical leadership during pre-sales discussions, project delivery, and client consultations.
  • Draft detailed documentation including strategy papers, technical blueprints, migration plans, risk assessments, and SOPs.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure up-to-date strategies and continuous improvement.
  • Train and mentor internal teams and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in relevant domains with demonstrable expertise.
  • Certifications in related fields (e.g., CCNA/CCNP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure, CISSP, ITIL) are highly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of Tiered Data Centre architecture, redundancy, cooling, and power management.
  • Strong experience in infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds).
  • Proficiency in managing both on-premise and hybrid environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
