The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in large-scale e-commerce environments, a proven track record of managing teams of 25+ engineers, and a passion for driving engineering excellence and innovation.Key Responsibilities:Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 25+ engineers across backend, frontend, and full-stack domains.Drive end-to-end product delivery—from architecture and development to testing anddeployment.Build and scale complex web applications using Python, Node.js, and React.js.Collaborate closely with product, design, and data teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.Establish and enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, and CI/CD pipelines.Drive data-driven decision-making and continuously improve team productivity and quality metrics.Manage technical roadmaps, sprint planning, and resource allocation for multiple projects.Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance in high-traffic e-commerce environments.Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and innovation within the team.Required Skills & Experience:10+ years of total experience in software development, with at least 3–5 years in engineering management roles.Strong hands-on expertise in Python, Node.js, and React.js.Proven experience leading large, cross-functional engineering teams (25+ members).Deep understanding of system architecture, microservices, APIs, and cloud-native applications.Experience working in high-scale e-commerce or product-based companies.Strong data-driven mindset; ability to use analytics and metrics to drive decisions and improvements.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.Experience with modern DevOps tools, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience building or scaling e-commerce platforms or marketplaces.Experience with distributed systems, caching, and performance optimization.Familiarity with modern data platforms or data engineering concepts.Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
