About the role As a Subtitling Specialist on the Subtitling Operations team, you will manage the delivery & transformation of existing subs for our streaming platform. You will be a vital communication bridge between our Content Operations teams and our internal subtitling & dubbing teams at Crunchyroll. You will contribute your understanding of subtitle specs & style guides, as well as your experience in localization workflows across streaming, theatrical, digital transactional & home entertainment distribution to ensure that, no matter where our audience consumes our subtitles, they are best-in-class. Core Areas of Responsibility - Monitor subtitle delivery tasks during weekend hours (Wed–Sun). - Monitor incoming materials from translators & licensors and vendors. - Follow up with teams if subs have not come in on schedule. - Check that files have ingested into Polaris and triage file naming and or technical issues with COPs & TMT if ingest fails.
