Job Purpose
The position is responsible for managing design-related tasks, including the creation of store designs specific to the relevant markets. The designer will play a critical role in all phases of the architectural process, from conceptual design through construction administration, ensuring that our projects uphold the highest standards of functionality, aesthetics, and brand identity. Additionally, this role serves as a supportive function within the company, assisting with business requirements and ensuring that design proposals and solutions comply with broader Americana standards and policies to achieve departmental goals.
Key Responsibilities
Developing & Preparing store Designs for New stores.
Developing & preparing store designs for renovation, remodel, and retrofit projects.
Timely completion of project designs as per the organization’s budgeted plan.
Preparing design solutions and proposals within budgeted cost.
Prepare Demarcation layouts for Multiple F&B / Retail brands.
Conduct the project site and prepare the measured site survey drawing.
Conduct the Remodels, renovation, and retrofit project scoping with all the stakeholders.
Collaborate with different internal and external stakeholders within and outside the organization to ensure that the project outcome is in line with the brief and in line with the Organizational requirements.
Education:
• Bachelor of Architecture (5 years).
• Master of Architecture (not essential but will be a plus)
Experience:
3-5 years’ experience post-graduation as an Architect.
“Prior experience and exposure in Retail / Hospitality and F&B Design ” is a must.
Knowledge:
Ability to plan, organize, and adapt in various situations to meet business objectives.
Strong understanding of building codes, accessibility standards, and life safety regulations.
Knowledge of F&B or retail-specific design considerations (kitchen layouts, display areas, customer flow) is essential.
Experience with space planning, customer flow analysis, and creating functional layouts.
Knowledge of materials, finishes, and construction methods specific to F&B or retail environments (a must).
Strong design presentation skills.
