As a Senior Engineer, you will bring front end development, security and design skills to enforce developers cross different Squads. You will extensively make use and apply Continuous Integration tools and practices in the context of Deutsche Bank's digitalization journey. You will ensure the best-practices are followed and implementations are in-line with DB policies and engineering guidelines. Act as liaison between architecture team and development squads. Communicate and defend architecture and design guidelines, decisions and best-practices to the development squads. Analyse mandatory technical updates, document solution approach, explain and support implementation by development squads. Participate in (pull-request based) code reviews for important changes, with a strong focus on good API-first collaboration, Micro Front-end design patterns and the use of proven coding and testing patterns. Support and lead the move to fully automated CI/CD and DevOps way of working. Support developers when stuck on specific issues and create a knowledge base of appropriate solutions to common problems. Take the lead and further develop the front-end CoE community as the platform to share ideas and experiences, convincing squad members to actively participate and present topics to their peers. Manage individual task priorities and deliverables and actively participate in Architecture Review Boards. Responsible for providing high quality solutions and promoting post-mortems documentation with squads if production incidents are declared. Contribute to hiring interviews and planning continuous improvement activities. Actively participate in dbCore and front-end group forums and align with architects when new features are announced. Your skills and experience Knowledge and experience with Agile techniques: User Stories, Acceptance Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Automated Testing, Agile Games Expert knowledge with HTML, CSS, JavaScript development experience for at least 7 years Expert knowledge with Browser solutions design and development experience for at least 7 years Expert knowledge with the Angular Framework and SPA development (7 years) Experience with Mobile App Development Eagerness to learn Ionic Framework for hybrid mobile app development Experience with Android and Apple release process Has a sufficient understanding of Spring Boot and BFF development patterns Has practical and applied knowledge of design patterns (and anti-patterns) Experience with DevOps tools e.g; GIT, TeamCity, NPM, SONAR Good understanding of application security concepts (Owasp top 10), and experience using solutions like OAuth2 & OIDC, mutual TLS, certificates and PKI. Proven interest and focus to stay up to date with technology evolution in the scope of application development and deployment. Commitment to create detailed and complete technical instructions and promote these to the development squads. Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environment, and using the common collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence...)
