Summary
SAP Ariba is the world's business commerce network. We help companies extend their business commerce processes into the Cloud, where they can use our Procurement solutions and the SAP Ariba Network to find opportunities to cut costs, reduce risk, and grow revenue through better collaboration with trading partners. The SAP Ariba Cloud Platform provides a feature-rich, high performance, scalable, rock-solid (99.99% uptime) Distributed Computing Platform via SAP Ariba Cloud to allow rapid innovation of applications thereby addressing our customers mission-critical business needs.

What you'll do

As a Software Developer your typical day might include:

•    Design, develop, test and deploy simple and complex features in SAP Ariba Platform suite of products.

•    Debug issues in code and figure out the root cause and provide timely fix.

•    Get hands on experience with emerging trends and technologies in the field of cloud development, including open source products and contribute to the on-going development of SAP Ariba Platform suite of products.

What you'll bring

•    3+ years of Java coding skills and expertise in JDBC, JMS and Web Services (REST, oDATA) with focus on performance and scalability

•    Microservice development with spring boot is mandatory.

•    Knowledge on Kafka and HDFS is preferred.

•    Expertise with relational and no-sql databases like SAP Hana, HDFS is preferred

•    Experience in performance testing of large scale cloud deployments

•    Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment

•    DevOps mindset – an inherent sense of ownership through the development and deployment lifecycle

•    Knowledge of lean development infrastructure process including Git, Jenkins etc.  and exposure to Continuous Delivery practices

•    Exposure to building large scale application deployed on a public cloud like AWS, AZURE, GCP, etc.


•    Minimum BE/B Tech/ME/M Tech/MCA degree in computer science or related field
