Role Overview

As Assistant Manager – D2C Website, you'll own the daily execution and improvement of the Deconstruct website. You'll manage listings, launch offers, implement updates, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure the site is optimized for both performance and experience. This role requires a balance of analytical execution and right-brain thinking—the ability to understand how users think, feel, and behave.

Key Responsibilities

  • Website Operations & Updates
  • Manage and maintain product listings, banners, offers, and collections on Shopify.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally for campaign launches, ensuring all content and landing pages are accurate and on-brand.
  • Work with third-party app partners to test and implement features that improve conversion and experience.
    • Customer Journey Thinking
    • Use intuitive and design-first thinking to map and improve the on-site shopping journey.
    • Ensure the website reflects both user needs and brand personality—from structure to storytelling.
      • Retention & Engagement
      • Collaborate with the CRM team to support WhatsApp, SMS, and email journeys that drive repeat purchases.
      • Implement creative tests and user flows to improve engagement, including A/B experiments on messaging and on-site UX.
        • Performance Tracking
        • Track key metrics like traffic, CVR, bounce rate, and user paths using tools like Google Analytics and Shopify reports.
        • Provide insights and reports on promotions, offer effectiveness, and customer behavior.

Key Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience in D2C website or e-commerce operations (Shopify experience required).
  • Strong attention to detail with a flair for layout, flow, and storytelling.
  • You have right-brain strengths—Creative problem-solving, Visual and emotional storytelling, Intuitive, customer-first thinking, Design sensitivity and campaign ideation.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with marketing, tech, design, and customer support teams.
  • Analytical, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and timelines.
  • Good to have- Experience with tools like Klaviyo, Bik.Ai, or KwikEngage
  • Good to have- Background in skincare, beauty, or wellness D2C
  • Good to have- Working knowledge of basic HTML/CSS for Shopify tweaks
