Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Team Lead to head our cross-functional development team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the architecture, development, and delivery of our iOS and Android applications, web platforms, APIs, and data systems. The ideal candidate brings technical excellence, strong leadership, and the ability to align engineering efforts with business goals across a complex, data-driven ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of mobile, web, backend, and database developers.
  • Drive sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and ensure Agile best practices.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Technical Oversight
  • Oversee the architecture and delivery of scalable, secure, and performant systems.
  • Ensure seamless integration between mobile apps, APIs, databases, and third-party systems.
  • Review and guide code contributions, pull requests, and system designs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and data analysts to translate product vision into robust, scalable solutions.
  • Coordinate across departments to align on requirements, timelines, and delivery goals.
  • Project Execution
  • Own project timelines, resource allocation, and milestone tracking.
  • Anticipate risks and roadblocks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure QA, deployment, and post-launch monitoring processes are in place.
  • Data Infrastructure & Integrations
  • Manage ingestion of data from multiple sources (APIs, third-party systems, internal tools).
  • Collaborate with the data team to support data modeling, warehousing, and analytics.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in software development with full-stack exposure.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams across mobile, web, and backend.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge in:
  • Mobile Development: Swift (iOS), Kotlin/Java (Android)
  • Backend: Node.js / Python / Java; RESTful API design
  • Frontend: React / Vue / Angular
  • Databases: SQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL
  • Cloud & DevOps: AWS/GCP, Docker, CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with data integrations from external APIs and internal systems.
