Job Title: Guidewire QA TesterExperience: 3+ YearsLocation: CoimbatoreEmployment Type: Full-timeJob Summary:We are looking for a skilled Guidewire QA Tester with hands-on experience in testing Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter). The ideal candidate should have strong functional knowledge of P&C insurance processes and solid expertise in test planning, test execution, and defect management.Key Responsibilities:Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing for Guidewire modules (PC/BC/CC).Review business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.Execute test cases, log defects, and track them to closure using defect management tools like JIRA/ALM.Validate integrations between Guidewire and external systems.Ensure data accuracy by performing backend testing using SQL queries.Work closely with development, BA, and business teams to understand requirements and clarify issues.Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospective meetings).Support UAT by helping business users with test scenarios and defect triage.Ensure adherence to QA best practices and maintain high-quality deliverables.Required Skills & Experience:3+ years of IT experience with at least 3+ years in Guidewire testing (PolicyCenter/BillingCenter/ClaimCenter).Strong understanding of P&C Insurance domain.Experience in creating and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts.Hands-on experience with Guidewire configurations, product model, rating, or workflows is a plus.Good understanding of integration testing and validating XML/JSON API responses.Experience with tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, Postman, or similar.Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data validation.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Good to Have:Guidewire Certification (PC/BC/CC Specialist or Associate).Knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, REST Assured) is an advantage.Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
