Appian Developer (Remote Contract) – Immediate Start

We’re supporting a fast-growing fintech company that’s building powerful workflow automation tools for the financial sector. They’re now hiring Appian Developers to join their remote team.

This is a hands-on development role where you’ll be central to delivering production-grade automation across critical banking systems. The work directly impacts how digital financial services operate day to day.


🚨 This is an urgent hire. The client is moving quickly on interviews and decisions. Only candidates who are immediately available (within 1 week of offer) and have proven Appian + banking/fintech experience will be considered. 🚨


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining workflows on the Appian platform.
  • Translating business needs into scalable, low-code solutions.
  • Building process models, interfaces, records, reports, and integrations.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving performance issues.
  • Collaborating with analysts and stakeholders to refine requirements.
  • Contributing to internal tooling and staying current on Appian improvements.


What They’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of hands-on Appian development (SAIL, Tempo, Sites, Records, Reports).
  • Strong understanding of BPM principles and Appian’s low-code environment.
  • Experience integrating via REST APIs and handling external data.
  • Solid SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
  • Direct experience in banking or fintech.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a distributed team.


Nice to Have (not essential):

  • Appian Associate Developer certification.
  • Agile delivery experience.
  • Cloud exposure (AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with other low-code/BPM platforms.
