Chandigarh University is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Admission Coordinator - Marketing to join our dynamic admissions team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in promoting the university's programs, managing admissions processes, and enhancing the overall student recruitment strategy. This position requires a blend of marketing acumen and organizational skills to effectively manage communication with prospective students and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing and Promotion (ATL/BTL Activities)
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract prospective students.
  • Create promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, and digital content.
  • Manage social media campaigns to engage prospective students and promote university events.

Admissions Coordination:

  • Oversee the admissions process, including application review, interviews, and decision-making.
  • Coordinate and attend recruitment events, campus tours, and open houses.
  • Provide information to prospective students regarding programs, scholarships, and admission requirements.

Communication and Support:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students, addressing inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records of all communications and interactions with prospective students.
  • Collaborate with academic departments to provide accurate and up-to-date program information.

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Track and analyze admissions data to assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
  • Prepare reports on admissions trends, conversion rates, and marketing effectiveness for management review.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to align admissions strategies with overall university branding and marketing efforts.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement in the admissions process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in admissions, marketing, or a related area, preferably in higher education. (Min 1 Years)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM systems and social media platforms.
  • Skills:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
