Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Developer to support the modernization of our legacy applications by migrating C# projects from the .NET Framework to .NET Standard 2.0 or .NET 8. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with large-scale migrations, strong knowledge of plugin-based architectures, and the ability to work with both legacy and modern .NET components. Youll collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure clean, testable code and maintain high standards for performance, security, and Responsibilities : Migration :

- Migrate Job Engine plugins and associated libraries from .NET Framework to .NET Standard 2.0 or .NET 8 in dependency order.

- Ensure compatibility for shared libraries by targeting .NET Standard 2.0 when used across different .NET Framework services.

- Identify and resolve compatibility issues related to third-party NuGet packages by upgrading or replacing with suitable Lifecycle Participation :

- Follow secure coding practices, team coding standards, and participate in code reviews.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement unit and integration tests for migrated components.

- Document migration steps, architecture changes, and technical Collaboration :

- Provide regular progress updates and highlight risks or blockers proactively.

- Work closely with QA, DevOps, and other developers to ensure smooth deployment and testing.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and Qualifications : Skills :

- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Framework.

- Proven experience migrating applications to .NET Standard 2.0 and/or .NET 8.

- Good understanding of dependency management, project restructuring, and compatibility handling in .NET environments.

- Familiarity with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and gRPC & Protocols :

- Experience with plugin-based software architectures.

- Knowledge of device polling protocols such as SNMP and WMI.


Soft Skills :

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a Qualifications :

- Experience working with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.

- Familiarity with modern CI/CD practices and tools.

- Background in performance tuning and application optimization.
