Assembly – Sr. Engineer / Assistant Manager

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Sr. Engineer: B.E/B.Tech with 4+ years of experience
  • Assistant Manager: B.E/B.Tech with 6+ years of experience

Note: Only candidates with Team handling & (CNC, VMC, HMC) machinery assembly experience should apply.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Maintain Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) within acceptable limits in assembly processes.
  • Record and follow assembly quality plans at each stage to prevent customer complaints.
  • Troubleshoot electrical assembly-related technical issues to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Gain hands-on expertise in the complete assembly process.
  • Understand scope of supply and assemble machines as per requirements.
  • Ensure timely availability of materials with the right quality and quantity for assembly.
  • Demonstrate cycle time reduction in assembly processes.
  • Oversee packing and dispatch of machines and accessories without mismatch or short supply.
  • Prepare work instructions for assembly processes.
  • Sustain Corrective/Preventive Actions (CA/PA) implemented for DEMS (complaints).
  • Uphold Total Quality Management (TQM) principles.
  • Acquire basic knowledge of Painting, Mechanical, and ISO requirements .
  • Adhere strictly to Business Excellence processes.
  • Execute process improvement initiatives and identify error-proofing opportunities via FMEA.
  • Collaborate with the Assembly IE team to drive automation and process improvements .
  • Stay updated on latest assembly technologies and tools , and implement them.
  • Train apprentice trainees on assembly processes.
