Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Consultant with IC role, based in Bengaluru with some work-from-home options. The SEO Consultant will be responsible for conducting SEO audits, performing keyword research, utilizing web analytics, and developing link-building strategies. The role involves collaborating with various teams to implement and manage successful SEO campaigns and drive organic traffic growth.

Key Responsibilities


• Conduct keyword research and identify growth opportunities for organic traffic.


• Optimize website content, landing pages, and blogs for search engines and users.


• Implement on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies.


• Conduct site audits to identify and resolve SEO issues (crawl errors, page speed, indexing, etc.).


• Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority.


• Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.


• Stay updated with the latest SEO, Google algorithm updates, and industry trends.


• Collaborate with content, product, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated.


• Optimize for local SEO and voice search where applicable.

Requirements


• Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.


• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.


• Hands-on experience with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.).


• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms, CRUX (WordPress etc.) is a plus.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.


• Experience with content marketing and digital strategy.


• Familiarity with paid search campaigns (Google Ads) is an advantage.
