Job Description:

We are seeking a Junior Site Engineer to join our team and support the on-site management of our redevelopment projects. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to gain hands-on experience in construction and site management.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Supervision: Assist in overseeing daily construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and material inventories.

Coordination: Collaborate with senior engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and timely issue resolution.

Quality Control: Participate in regular inspections to ensure that construction work meets required standards and specifications.

Health & Safety Compliance: Support the implementation and enforcement of safety protocols on site.

Material Management: Assist in coordinating the procurement, delivery, and Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to site workers, ensuring that construction plans are understood and followed.

Reporting: Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports to senior management, identifying any issues or delays.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in construction or civil engineering, particularly in site supervision.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and construction management software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic construction environment.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Project Management Consultancy (PMC) is advantageous.

Familiarity with AutoCAD and other construction-related software.

Understanding of local building codes and regulations.
