Location : Bengaluru.

Work Hours : 9 PM to 6 AM IST (Currently Night Shift, Rotational from June 2025).

Experience : 7 to 10 years (6+ years relevant experience).

Industry Mandatory : Experience in the Semiconductor Industry/Projects preferred.

Job Summary :

- We are looking for an experienced Senior Linux Systems Administrator (L3) to join our IT team.

- This role demands strong expertise in Linux system administration, automation, storage management, and cloud technologies.

- The ideal candidate will handle OS builds, patching, configuration management, scripting, and Linux migration projects while ensuring high availability, security, and efficiency of enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Linux System Administration.

- Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux OS (RHEL, OEL, CentOS) across enterprise environments.

- Design and customize OS builds based on application requirements and best practices.

- Implement system patching strategies, ensuring security compliance and stability.

- Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization of Linux servers.

- Collaborate with security teams to identify and mitigate system vulnerabilities.

- Automation & Configuration Management.

- Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for provisioning, configuration, and automation.

- Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual tasks and improve operational efficiency.

- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) methodologies using Terraform.

- Storage Management (NetApp).

- Manage and administer NetApp storage systems, ensuring high availability and performance.

- Perform storage provisioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting for enterprise storage solutions.

- Cloud Infrastructure (AWS).

- Work with AWS cloud infrastructure, handling storage, compute, and networking components.

- Manage cloud-based Linux environments and implement best practices for cost optimization and security.

- Linux Migrations & Upgrades.

- Lead and participate in Linux migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime.

- Plan, coordinate, and execute application and service migrations across different environments.

- Provide post-migration support and performance tuning.

- System Monitoring & Performance Optimization.

- Implement and configure monitoring tools to proactively detect and resolve system issues.

- Conduct system performance analysis and fine-tuning for optimal efficiency.

- Documentation & Collaboration.

- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system configurations and SOPs.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless IT operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Linux Administration: 6+ years of experience managing RHEL, CentOS, OEL in enterprise environments.

- Automation & Configuration: Hands-on experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.

Storage Management: Strong knowledge of NetApp storage solutions (provisioning, maintenance, troubleshooting).

Cloud Expertise: Experience with AWS and cloud-based Linux infrastructure.

Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in Bash, Python, Shell scripting for automation.

System Security & Patching: Experience in system patching methodologies and security best practices.

Monitoring & Performance Tuning: Familiarity with system monitoring tools and optimization techniques.

Collaboration & Documentation: Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

Certifications: RHCSA, RHCE, NetApp, AWS, or Ansible certifications.

Virtualization & Containerization: Experience with VMware, Docker, Kubernetes.

ITIL Practices: Exposure to ITIL-based service management.

Industry Experience: Semiconductor project experience preferred.
