Job DescriptionTutor/Assistant/Associate/ Professor Nursing administers courses in the discipline area of nursing by guiding, developing and designing curriculum schedules to foster students learning, stimulate class discussions and ensures student engagement and better learning.The Faculty of Nursing provides tutoring, academic counselling to students maintains class related records and assessments of student’s coursework collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and Co-curricular activities.Develops University strategic initiatives and participates in long-term planning and policy setting.He/she develops long- and short-range plans, and exercises management responsibility for academic program planning, faculty matters, and administration, including staffing, budgets, and facilities. He/she fosters a high-quality environment of academic teaching, research, and intellectual achievement, and creates and strengthens partnerships within and outside the University.
Skill-set requiredProviding visionary and strategic leadership for the Faculty of Nursing. Supporting high quality teaching, faculty research, and creative and professional activities. - Fostering academic planning and innovative curricular and scholarly development. - Encouraging research grants, expanded advancement effort, and public/private partnerships. - Ensuring effective management of financial resources including budget planning and management. - Supporting faculty recruitment, review, and development. - Supporting the University's efforts to educate the healthcare workforce to ensure state-of-the-art skills. - Enhancing the Faculty profile, resource streams, and engagement with alumni and the community. - Supporting the University's commitment to diversity and fostering, academic, and non-academic activities to increase the visibility and to enhance University's efforts to prepare a culturally diverse cadre of health professionals in partnership with the local health care community.
Experience:University teaching experience complemented by a superior research and scholarly record; a record of proven leadership and administrative experience related to the work or related multidisciplinary programs; understanding of the instructional, research, and creative needs of undergraduate and graduate programs.For Tutor, a minimum of 1 year experience is required.For Assistant professor Minimum of 3 years work experience along with 5 research papers & publications of International Journals will be preferred.For Associate Professor/ Professor- 8 to 12 years work experience along with 8-10 research papers & publications of International Journals will be preferred.
