We are a 50 bedded tertiary care Neurology Hospital in Thanjavur , Tamil Nadu . We have Neurology, Neurosurgery , Interventional Neuroradiology services . We have CT/MRI/Neuro Cath Lab , and the main focus is on stroke . We are in the process of starting Neurointerventional Fellowship also .

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Neurologist at Dr.Vanchilingam Hospital located in Thanjavur. The Neurologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with a range of neurological disorders, including stroke , movement disorders and epilepsy, and Demyelinating Neurological disorders . The role also involves interpreting EEGs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and staying up-to-date on the latest research in the field of neurology.

Qualifications

• Expertise in the field of Medicine and Neurology
• Experience in diagnosing and treating patients with stroke movement disorders and epilepsyand a range of other neurological illness .
• Proven ability to interpret EEGs,to do EMG/NCS , LP .

Additional qualifications that would be beneficial for a Neurologist role at Dr.Vanchilingam Hospital include:

• Board certification in neurology or a related field
• Experience working in a stroke ICU or ICU clinical setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
• Willingness to stay up-to-date on the latest research and treatment options in the field of neurology
