Position Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Remote Dental Insurance Coordinator located outside the United States to support our dental office operations by ensuring accurate and timely insurance verification's, breakdowns, and patient communications. This remote role is essential to optimizing scheduling, maintaining claim accuracy, and supporting both patients and team members from afar. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a high level of

independence, and the ability to manage a fast-paced workflow with precision while coordinating across time zones.

Key Responsibilities :

Insurance Verification & Coordination

● Required to perform 14 to 20+ insurance verification's per day, totaling a minimum of 60 verification's per week, to ensure accurate benefits and claim submissions.

● Complete the Insurance breakdown form entirely for each patient. Upload copy of document into individual patient document center with appropriate tags. Utilize that data to insert into the dental software.

● Enter data from the insurance breakdown form into the dental software. Including insurance company address, contact info, adjust coverage tables to accurately reflect percentages with the correct deductible type, and ensure all exceptions are added. (i.e. frequencies, downgrades, and age limitations).

● Verify eligibility for new and existing patients scheduled 2 days in advance. Identify any coverage terminations or discrepancies.

● Assist team members in determining in-network or out-of-network status for new patient requests. Via company internal g-chat.

● Update and maintain servicing addresses with insurance companies, ensuring all information is current and compliant.

● Update insurance company fee schedules within the dental software as needed or requested by team leads.

Patient Communication & Schedule Management

● Ensure new patient referrals are properly linked to accounts and assigned to the correct provider in the dental software.

● Communicate with patients via patient messaging software to collect additional information as needed for the insurance verification process.

Claims & Administrative Support

● Respond to patient emails and chats regarding insurance breakdowns or claim follow-ups as needed.

● Collaborate with administrative and clinical teams to maintain up-to-date insurance documentation and support

seamless patient experiences.

● Contribute to overall insurance team operations by stepping in where needed and offering consistent

communication and support.

Qualifications:

● 3+ years of experience in dental insurance coordination, billing, or front office roles (remote experience preferred).

● In-depth knowledge of dental insurance processes, verification, and claim submission.

● Proficiency in dental practice management software and insurance portals.
