Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adaptive AUTOSAR and SOVD Lead to build and lead a team focused on delivering cutting-edge software solutions for the next generation of vehicles.

This role requires a strong technical leader with a deep understanding of Adaptive AUTOSAR, Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA), and Vehicle Diagnostics.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building technical offerings, leading customer programs, and fostering a culture of technical excellence within the SDV practice.

Responsibilities :

Team Leadership and Development :

- Build and lead a scalable team with comprehensive expertise in Adaptive AUTOSAR-based development within the SDV practice.

- Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

- Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and develop training plans to enhance team capabilities.

- Perform capacity planning and resource allocation to ensure efficient project execution.

Technical Leadership and Customer Engagement :

- Own and prepare detailed technical offerings, including architecture diagrams, specifications, and effort estimations, to support customer RFQ/SOW responses.

- Lead key customer programs focusing on Service-Oriented Vehicle Diagnostics (SOVD) and Adaptive AUTOSAR stack integration.

- Act as a technical point of contact for customers, providing expert advice and solutions.

- Lead customer technical presentations and pitches.

Technical Execution and Development (Focus on Architecture and Integration) :

- Establish end-to-end competencies encompassing Systems Architecture, Requirement Definition, software integration, and Vehicle Validation.

- Define and manage test planning for Unit, Integration, and Acceptance level testing, ensuring high software quality.

- Plan and oversee the integration of SAE Level 2, 3, and 4 AD/ADAS driving features and functional software.

- Provide technical expertise in the integration of Adaptive AUTOSAR software components.

- Work with POSIX-based operating systems (AGL, Ubuntu, QNX, GHS Integrity) and their integration with Adaptive AUTOSAR.

- Design and implement communication protocols, including Ethernet (TCP/UDP), SOME/IP, HTTPS/RESTful, DDS, UDS, and DoIP.

- Integrate MATLAB/Simulink models with Adaptive C++ using TargetLink or Embedded Coder (Preferred).

- Develop and implement solutions related to Over-The-Air (OTA) updates, Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA), Microservices, and SOVD.

Quality and Compliance :

- Ensure adherence to Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Cyber Security (ISO 21434) standards.

- Utilize industry-standard tools for design, development, and testing (Vector, EB, ETAS).

- Implement and maintain robust software development processes and quality control measures.

Qualifications :

Required :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline.

- 5 to 12 years of experience leading the development of automotive embedded software projects.

- Strong proficiency in software architecture and integration.

- Extensive experience with Adaptive AUTOSAR architecture and implementation.

- Hands-on experience with POSIX-based operating systems (AGL, Ubuntu, QNX, GHS Integrity).

- Deep understanding of automotive communication protocols (Ethernet, SOME/IP, HTTPS/RESTful, DDS, UDS, DoIP).

- Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing software development projects.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead independently and collaborate effectively.

- Proven experience in people management and capacity planning.

Preferred :

- Proven experience in leading techno-commercial tasks, including offer preparation and customer presentations.

- Experience integrating MATLAB/Simulink with Adaptive C++ using TargetLink or Embedded Coder.

- Experience with technologies such as OTA, SOA, SOVD, and Microservices.

- Hands-on experience with design, development, and testing tools from Vector, EB, or ETAS.

- Good understanding of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Cyber Security (ISO 21434) standards.

- Experience with vehicle diagnostics and SOVD.

- Experience with AD/ADAS software integration.
