About the Role

This is a full-time remote role for a Mobile Application Automation Test Engineer at V-Thru. We are seeking a highly skilled Candidate to join our QA team. The candidate will design, develop, and maintain automation test suites for both our Customer App and Driver App (Android & iOS). This role also requires strong expertise in Mobile, API testing, web testing, and CI/CD integrations, ensuring end-to-end quality of our food delivery platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for Android and iOS apps using Java-based automation frameworks (Appium, TestNG/JUnit).
  • Execute and manage automation tests across multiple applications (Customer & Driver apps) simultaneously.
  • Perform API testing to validate backend services and data integrity.
  • Contribute to Web automation testing for admin, restaurant, and partner portals.
  • Run automated tests on Sauce Labs (or similar device farms) and analyze detailed result reports.
  • Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Use Docker containers for test environment setup, parallel execution, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to define test coverage, ensure feature readiness, and troubleshoot defects.
  • Ensure test coverage across different devices, OS versions, and network conditions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Java programming for test automation.
  • Proficiency in automation frameworks (Appium, intelliJ, TestNG, JUnit, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Mobile Testing (Android & iOS).
  • Experience in API Testing (Postman, REST Assured).
  • Knowledge of Web Testing (Selenium/WebDriver).
  • Experience with Docker for scalable test execution.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based test environments like Sauce Labs, BrowserStack.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
