Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role located in Chennai for an Analyst - Investor Relations. The Analyst will be responsible for managing relationships with investors, supporting communications, analyzing financial data, and preparing reports for investment stakeholders. The role also involves conducting market research and crafting presentations to effectively communicate key financial insights and strategies. QualificationsStrong knowledge and experience in Analyst Relations and Relationship BuildingProficiency in Finance and Analytical Skills to assess and present financial dataExcellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with stakeholders effectivelyDetail-oriented and adept at problem-solving and organizational tasksBachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related disciplinePrior experience in Investor Relations or financial analysis roles is an advantage Analyst – Investor RelationsAbout the RoleJoin our global team as an Analyst – Investor Relations, supporting fundraising efforts for leading private equity, private credit, and alternative investment managers. You will work closely with GPs raising capital globally, gaining exposure to cross-border investor relations and private markets. As part of our Analyst Program, after one year of successful performance in India, you will have the opportunity to relocate to Tokyo and join our HQ team, working directly with global investors and top-tier fund managers. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport fundraising mandates for private equity, private credit, and alternative investment strategies.Prepare investor presentations, pitch books, and marketing materials for global investors.Conduct investor research and maintain CRM systems with accurate engagement data.Analyze fund performance, track record, and portfolio data; build financial models for projections.Assist with due diligence materials and respond to investor queries.Coordinate cross-border outreach between GPs and global investors, QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.2–5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, investor relations, or placement agent environment.Strong financial modeling and Excel skills; proficiency in PowerPoint.Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.CFA or CAIA designation (or progress toward) is highly desirable. Preferred SkillsKnowledge of private markets and institutional fundraising.Familiarity with CRM systems and investor databases.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.Comfort working across time zones and cultures.
