Raptor AI Inc. is a cross-border recruitment platform that helps enterprises hire global talent in weeks—and retain talent for years—through a suite of intelligent AI microservices.We are supported by the Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry and recognized by JETRO Japan as an innovative startup.Our distributed team includes engineers and researchers from Silicon Valley, Tokyo, Dubai, and Bangalore.Join us in shaping the future of AI-driven global recruitment from Japan to the world.Role OverviewAs an AI Intern at Raptor AI, you will work on building production-grade AI agents and systems that power our end-to-end global recruitment automation infrastructure.This is an opportunity to contribute to impactful real-world AI applications while learning from engineers operating across multiple countries and technologies.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deploy AI agents for real-world production environments.Analyze and model data to build inference-ready backend servers.Collaborate with AI researchers and technical managers to turn requirements into working features.Contribute to architecture discussions, experimentation, and iterative improvements.QualificationsHighly motivated, curious, and passionate about solving complex problems.Strong foundation in Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields.Ability to reason from first principles.Comfortable with the Kaizen approach—continuous, incremental improvement of systems.Strong systems thinking and ability to understand client use cases.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global team environment.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Fast learner with a bias toward action and iteration.Proficiency in Python, Git, and familiarity with Agno Agents or similar frameworks.Coursework or practical experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Agentic Systems is a plus.Interview ProcessAfter an initial pre-screening, shortlisted candidates will be given a 24-hour challenge to build a small, production-ready AI prototype based on a designated task.What You’ll GainHands-on experience building AI products in an international startup.Mentorship from engineers working across Japan, the U.S., and the Middle East.Exposure to next-generation agentic AI systems.Potential pathway to a full-time role in Japan based on internship performance.
