It's rare for us to work on weekends/holidays.About the RoleWe’re looking for a highly skilled QA Engineer with strong expertise in Katalon Studio to lead our automation testing efforts. As this role is central to improving the robustness and efficiency of our testing process, proficiency with Katalon is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain automated test frameworks, with a primary focus on Katalon Studio.Create and execute API test cases using tools such as Postman.Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps).Apply and advocate test automation best practices, including Page Object Model (POM) and data-driven testing.Develop and execute test strategies covering unit, integration, system, regression, performance, and security testing.Conduct root cause analysis of defects, identify gaps, and drive improvements in code and testing methodology.Document detailed test plans, test cases, and test results.Work closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure rapid, quality-driven delivery.Champion a quality-centric culture and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Required Skills & ExperienceProven experience in test automation, with expertise in Katalon StudioStrong knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar toolsHands-on experience implementing tests in CI/CD environmentsDeep understanding of testing methodologies (unit, integration, system, regression, performance, security)Skilled in test design patterns and framework structuring (POM, reusable components, data-driven testing)Strong analytical mindset, able to break down complex issuesDetail-oriented, with the ability to balance speed and qualityExcellent communication and documentation skillsOwnership mentality – proactive problem solver with a continuous improvement attitudeComfortable working with teams aligned to +2 GMT timezone
