Job overview and responsibilities The CRE Strategy & Analytics team is leading the way to better informed strategic decision making within Corporate Real Estate. Key responsibilities include:

• Supports data-driven decisions through detailed analysis

• Assists with querying and analyzing schedule data to convert into digestible models and dashboards to be used by CRE team members to evaluate impact

• Partners with team to create stories to support financial justification for CRE projects in partnership with the division owner, helping to answer how much space we need, why we need it, and why now

• Develops tools to streamline decision making by automating key information such as lease details, costs, and timelines
As this is a newer team within CRE, we look to revolutionize the way the group uses data and analysis to improve decision making, streamline processes, and drive efficiency across the group. This role will be involved across projects as an active team member, learning how United operates internally and how to leverage analytical skills to tell stories with data.
  • Supports operational/schedule analysis to quantify need for new infrastructure
  • Builds dashboards and tools with schedule, real estate, and operational data
  • Storytelling via presentation development to convert findings into justifications

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded. This position is for United Airlines Business Services Pvt. Ltd - a wholly owned subsidiary of United Airlines Inc.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, Operations, Finance, Economics, Engineering
  • 2+ Years of relevant job experience
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills
  • Proficiency in a data querying language and data visualization tool such as SQL, Python, PowerBI
  • Ability to work with others and learn on the job
  • Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
  • Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred

  • Master's degree
  • Masters in an Analytical Field
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Project experience in an operational environment
  • PowerBI/ PowerApps
  • Presentation development skills
