This role will be with our growing Portfolio Management Group and as a Senior Associate, the primary responsibility will be to work closely with clients to monitor the performance of the financing transactions across various asset classes in structured finance across different geographies. The Role requires to coordinate with client on deliverables and possess technical skills and holistic understanding of the commercial lending domain.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Handling: Work closely with the clients in supporting them for monitoring the performance of the investment transactions across various asset classes in structured finance
Technical know-how: The candidate should possess reasonable knowledge of the processes related to commercial lending, especially corporate loans
Process Management: Oversee the entire process of financial spreading and covenant monitoring, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established policies and procedures
Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of financial analysts responsible for onboarding and regularly monitoring the client’s investment portfolio on Oxane’s proprietary platform
Financial Analysis: Analyzing and spreading the financial statements of public and private companies. Review loan agreements, amendment documents, servicer, and other reports, analyzing the financial covenants applicable to the borrower
Required Experience/Skill Set:
Good understanding of the commercial lending process
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information
Proficiency in MS Excel
Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and interpersonal
Ability to work well under pressure to meet strict and aggressive deadlines
Desired candidate must have graduated / MBA/ advanced degree in finance
Several years of experience in credit analysis/financial spreading, or a similar role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial role is preferred
