Role/ Job Title:  Senior Financial Operations Analyst

Function/ Department:  Financial Operations – Retail Banking

Job Purpose:

This ensures accuracy of payout to assignee banks and Alliance partners. Also ensures sharing of details with internal and external stakeholders on timely basis to avoid escalations as higher level.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Ensuring correct and timely Payout calculations of all assignment banks for Direct Assignment deals. This includes downloading of various IT reports from reporting system & to be shared with trustees.  Preparation of Payout report of all assigned banks & payout figures to be tallied with trustees wherever trustees are involved.  Preparation of various details & Annexures as required by bankers to be prepared & shared on time. Preparation of Debit Note for servicing fees & dispatch the same on time.  Preparation of various reconciliation such as Balance as per Payout file Vs Portfolio dump, Payout Data vs assignee bank Loan Statement. This is required to ensure that balances as per our books and as per assignee bank are tallying.  Preparing and uploading various month end entries such as servicing fee and EIS entry, payout entry, monthly reversal entry. Responsible for activities such as providing/sharing details to various internal & external stakeholders as and when required, UAT testing for automation., bank reconciliation, Helping team members as and when required. Perform financial and accounting related activities in a timely manner. Manage day to day operations to ensure the processes are executed within agreed SLAs. Perform month end closing activities such as revenue accounting, expense accounting, account reconciliation, etc. Manage account payables and receivables activities, credit and collection activities. Undertake regular self-assessments to ensure all new risks are actively managed and mitigated. Measure financial ratios such as solvency, profitability, growth, determine IDFC First's financial position and propose enhancement recommendations. Work closely with Technology to ensure that systems are developed to accommodate regulatory requirements and process improvements. Ensure all operational documentation is maintained and is best in class. Ensure financial and accounting reports are prepared in accordance to bank/regulatory rules and regulations. Maintain the MIS parameters as per set guidelines and identify process improvements to streamline date collection and report generation processes.

Education Qualification: 

Graduation: Bachelor in Commerce

Post-graduation: Mcom / MBA / PGDM

Professional Qualification/Certification: Chartered Accountant (CA).

Experience:  2 to 5 years of relevant experience in Finance operation.
