We are developing next-generation Digital Therapeutic products that redefine chronic illness management through AI-driven, hyper-personalized care. Our platform helps users manage conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, PCOS, pregnancy and asthma by delivering daily structured digital therapeutics, lifestyle interventions, personalized nutrition and exercise guidance and real-time monitoring, all without requiring human intervention.

Leveraging AI and adaptive algorithms, Tap Health dynamically personalizes each user's care journey, delivering enhanced insights, interventions, motivation, adherence and clinical outcomes at a fraction of traditional healthcare costs.

Beyond Digital Therapeutics, the Tap Health platform also provides free primary illness diagnosis based on symptoms and instant health advice through a seamless, voice-first experience.

Tap Health is launching India's first affordable, 100% AI-driven digital therapeutic product for diabetes. This program provides patients with personalized care, guiding them through lifestyle changes, medication management, and real-time monitoring. The AI enhances adherence by 10X compared to traditional human-led programs, making it easier for patients to stay on track without human intervention.

Role overview - Chief Technology Officer:

Tap Health is seeking an experienced and visionary Engineering leader to lead our engineering & AI efforts. This role is pivotal in driving the development of our cutting-edge AI-driven healthcare platform. You will be instrumental in building both consumer and B2B applications across mobile, SDK and PWA, creating APIs for third-party services, and ensuring the seamless integration of our platform within the broader healthcare ecosystem.

Key result areas:

- AI and Data Strategy: Drive the development and integration of AI technologies to enhance our early illness detection and health information platform. Leverage data to improve personalization and deliver better healthcare outcomes.

- Technology Leadership: Define and implement the technical vision and strategy for Tap Health, aligning with the company's business goals.

- Team Management: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Product Development: Oversee the development and deployment of our AI-driven healthcare platform, ensuring it meets the highest standards of performance, scalability, and security.

- Innovation: Drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to enhance our product offerings and maintain a competitive edge.

- Partnerships: Collaborate with other executives, stakeholders, and external partners to identify opportunities for technological advancement and integration.

- Data Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy, leveraging our proprietary knowledge base to fine-tune our AI models and improve personalization.

- Quality Assurance: Ensure robust testing, deployment, and monitoring practices to maintain high-quality, reliable, and secure software solutions.

Job description:

- Lead and manage a team of engineers in the workstream, setting clear goals and priorities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and data science, to identify growth opportunities and prioritize initiatives.

- Rapid prototyping of proof-of-concept stage projects.

- Oversee project planning, team allocation, and task delegation.

- Follow up with the development of high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions.

- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of growth initiatives and iterate on strategies accordingly.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in growth hacking and apply them to our products.

What are we looking for:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

- 10-15 years of relevant experience in a senior technology leadership role in a consumer Internet / product business

- Strong to 0 to 1 build-up experience

- Exposure to frontend, backend and infra engineering

- Strong understanding of AI and machine learning technologies, prior experience in building on AI will be helpful

- Good technical skills, including proficiency in programming languages/technologies, platforms, cloud architecture, security and privacy etc
